We built JobWell to help contractors, tradespeople, and property owners keep a clean record of work. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it in plain English.
What we collect
When you use JobWell, we collect the information needed to run the app and document jobs. That can include your name, email address, company information, photos, videos, GPS location captured for photo or job verification, and basic device or browser information.
How we use your information
We use this information to create and manage your account, connect people to the right jobs and properties, store and display job documentation, verify that updates were captured on-site, send important product or account notifications, process subscriptions, and improve the reliability and security of the service.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of service providers to help operate JobWell. Files and application data are stored with Supabase. Video processing and delivery may use Mux. Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can request account deletion or ask for a copy of your data by emailing hello@jobwell.app. If you close your account, we will work to remove the associated data from our active systems, subject to any legal, billing, or security obligations we need to satisfy.
How long we keep data
Photos, videos, and related job records are kept while your account is active so your timeline and documentation remain available. When an account is closed, we delete that content from active storage within a reasonable period, unless we need to retain limited records for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
Cookies and sessions
JobWell uses minimal cookies and similar technologies. In practice, they are mainly used to keep you signed in and maintain secure authentication sessions. We do not use heavy third-party ad tracking on the core product experience.
Security
We use HTTPS in transit and rely on encrypted storage and modern access controls through our infrastructure providers. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
